2026 British Championship Announcement

The 2026 British Championship for Saloon Stock Cars will be staged at The Racewall, Cowdenbeath over the weekend of 13 & 14 June.

This is a change to the original date, and regarding that, the following statement has been issued by GMP Scotland:

Following the announcement of the planned date for the Saloon Stock Car British Championship, there have been late requests for the date of the event to be reviewed.
Finding dates for Championship events across multiple national formulae which take into account venue planning conditions and availability (in the case of Cowdenbeath Racewall dates which do not have the potential to clash with football), and spacing of events is complex and typically mean compromises need to be made.
With thanks to the cooperation of the Cowdenbeath Racewall promotion, who themselves have been aided by changes to planned championship fixtures by their colleagues Autospeed and HRP, this has opened up the chance to move the Saloon Stock Car British Championship to the weekend of the 13th and 14th June. The ORCi Ministox British Championship also moves to this date. We thank all for their understanding in this enforced change of date. 

The current British Champion is 120 Luke Dorling.

The last time the British Championship was held at Cowdenbeath was in 2022, when 618 Stuart Shevill Jnr took the title.
