Grading
A driver’s grade will be determined by his Average points, as at the end of each Grading Period.
Average points are computed by dividing the total number of National Points, by the number of meetings a driver has contested.
There is no exact cut-off Average points score for each grade.  The number of drivers in each grade can fluctuate in relation to the number of drivers who are currently active.
However, as an approximate guide:

drivers with an Average points score of more than 3 points would be Yellow
drivers with an Average points score of more than 7 points would be Blue
drivers with an Average points score of more than 10 points would be Red
Upgrading
A driver will be upgraded a maximum of two grades in one grading period.

Downgrading
A driver will not be eligible to be downgraded if:

that driver did not race in the previous grading period
that driver did not race a minimum of two meetings in the current grading period
Any driver in the Top 24 of the World Rankings shall have a minimum Blue grade.
Former World and National Points Champions may not drop below Red grade for 4 years.
Drivers who have attained Blue grade or higher, may not drop below Yellow grade for 4 years..
Drivers shall only be downgraded a maximum of one grade per month, if they have met the criteria to be eligible to be downgraded.
